- Between September - December soup was a staple, 2 meals a day...everyday. Hey, when it's on sale - thats 50 cents a meal between 2 people!!
- Our bodies did not like the Peterborough's city water at first, but after some time the metally taste wasn't so bad.
- Laundry - twice a month.... I just made sure I had 15 pairs of undies to get me through.
- The oven was a great way to heat the main floor in the morning.
- Meat was a LUXERY... and when we got it, it was the "ghetto chicken in a bag"... mmmm bones.
- The leak in our toilet was not so bad for us (though we soaked every towel in the house)... it went through to the apt downstairs, and our LAZY landlord took 4 weeks and 3 e-mails to respond to the problem. This resulted in a whole new ceiling for our downstairs neighbour (her ceiling completely colaposed in the livingroom... meaning we could not walk in our upstairs livingroom.) That was pleasant.
- When we grocery shop... we don't get potatoes, rice, bread, and begals - we chose 1 carb, 1 veggie & fruit each, and yogurt.
- Half of the windows don't open... and the ones that do are held up by textbooks, fire extinguishers - oh lets not forget the window that is just a frame haha.
- We had a LOVELY toilet that can not keep the chain attached... it was the BEST way to wake up... cold, wet, toilet-water covered arm from re-attaching it.
-The lovely artwork on the ceiling in the loft - TONNES OF CRACKS.
- Masterchoice coffee - is good... just requires lots of milk and sweetener.
Using tote containers as extra counter space.
- Puclic Transit.... is memorized, every time and stop...Amy and I have it down pat now.
- Puppy treats were multi-grain cheerios, also a treat for Jenna. And the only reason we had good cereal was because Shari gave us 3 boxes! HAHA
- Hair gets washed every other day - your shampoo & conditioner lasts twice as long!!
- Amy's bedroom light has probably turned on 12 times the entire year.
- The room where I keep my clothes had an overhead light that hung by wires, until it exploded overtop of Jessicas head. ...hmmmm...
- Whatever food was given to us, was AMAZING. Tomatoes are a delicacy in this house.
